Convert Publisher pages to JPG or PNG
JPG and PNG copies make Publisher pages easy to preview and share, but they should supplement—not replace—a preserved PDF.
Use images for quick sharing
Page images are convenient for email previews, website thumbnails, social posts, and systems that cannot accept Publisher or PDF files. Each publication page can become a separate image.
Use JPG for smaller photographic pages and PNG when crisp text, flat colors, or transparency matters more.
Keep the PDF as the master copy
Images flatten text and graphics, can reduce print quality, and do not preserve links or editable elements. Keep the preserved PDF for archiving and printing, then create images from that approved PDF.
Check size and resolution
A web thumbnail and a print-quality page image require different resolutions. Review the exported dimensions before publishing, especially when small text must remain readable.
